  4. In a separate pan, prepare the sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water until it reaches a one-string consistency.
  5. Heat ghee in a deep frying pan and fry the prepared dough balls until golden brown.
  6. Remove the fried balls and soak them in the sugar syrup for at least an hour.
  7. Garnish with saffron strands and pistachio or almond flakes before serving.
